Mar-not: Paulo Melim Andersson out at Chloe
Did Richemont executives catch Andy Rooney‘s recent 60 Minutes segment? They’ve just announced the ousting of Paulo Melim Andersson, a veteran of Italian fashion house Marni who became creative director of Richemont-owned Chloe in October 2006. Favoring heavy embellishment and folkloric prints, Andersson broke from the breezy femininity of former Chloe creative director Phoebe Philo and the not-so-breezy femininity of her predecessor, Stella McCartney.
WWD reports today that Andersson will be replaced by Hannah MacGibbon, who worked under Philo from 2001 through 2006.
