The temporary employment behemoth, Manpower Inc (AKA “The company that you were hired by to do your same job after you were fired”), based out of Milwaukee, but in 72 countries and 9 distinct solar systems, unveiled its new identity package yesterday. It’s a simple, but pretty nice change. Their previous logo was just the name in a strong font. Now it looks like they’ve decided on going down the “random collection of similar looking thingies” route. But look closer and you’ll see that those thingies actually spell out “MP” in a futuristic, oval-y kind of way. The firm responsible for it is Wolff Olins, based out of London. Though would we be surprised to find that it was actually made by some guy they stuck in a poorly-lit conference room and was paid $6.50 an hour to do so? We would not.
