Rovio’s Angry Birds have a lot to be angry about. Those chortling egg-stealing green pigs and snickering monkeys are the main reasons. But, add one more cause to that list.
Lodsys, which maintains the patents for inventor Dan Abelow, which: are directed to systems and methods for providers of products and/or services to interact with users of those products and services to gather information from those users and transmit that information to the provider. They have pursued numerous iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android developers for infringing on these patents because of the use of in-app purchases and cross-promotions.
