Voice over Internet service provider Jajah has introduced a test version of free phone calls via Facebook over the Android. An iPhone version is currently in the works as well, although there’s no firm release date.
The offering is already live on Android in the U.S. and Canada — in notable contrast to the still-coming integration of Skype with Facebook.
Jajah’s Facebook calling feature allows one to place both local and international calls for free to anyone that’s a Facebook friend, with no additional account set ups or software needed.
Users simply download the Jajah app from Android Market, then connect with their Facebook account through their phone and select any contact currently showing as active in their “online friends” list.
