Last night’s Democratic debate was considered by many as one that managed to elicit both substance and fiery dialogue from the two candidates, but even that couldn’t overcome a Sunday-night spot that gave CNN an audience of 5.5 million, according to Nielsen Fast National data. In the A25-54 demo, the debate reached an audience of 1.788 million.
That makes this debate the second least-watched debate of the cycle, an interesting bookend to CNN’s September GOP debate, which was the second most-watched debate of the cycle.
