Los Angeles Dodgers Moving to KLAC in 2012

The Los Angeles Dodgers will have a new radio home starting in 2012.

The organization has agreed in principal to a multiyear deal with KLAC 570-AM, leaving KABC AM-790 after three seasons, according to the Daily News. A person familiar with the matter confirmed the story with the newspaper but the source could not be identified since the deal has not been announced.

The Dodgers’ broadcasters (Vin Scully, Jaime Jarrin, Charley Steiner, Rick Monday, Pepe Yniguez, Fernando Valenzuela) are all under contract with the team and won’t be affected by the pending deal, which has to be approved by Major League Baseball.
