Local LiFT, From Gannett’s BLiNQ Media And ShopLocal, Will Help Large National Retailers Think Local On Facebook

Two Gannett-owned companies will introduce a solution Wednesday that allows large, national retailers and brands to deliver relevant local ads and promotions to Facebook users, Local LiFT, from social analytics outfit BLiNQ Media and digital marketing solutions provider ShopLocal.

Two Gannett-owned companies will introduce a solution Wednesday that allows large, national retailers and brands to deliver relevant local ads and promotions to Facebook users, Local LiFT, from social analytics outfit BLiNQ Media and digital marketing solutions provider ShopLocal.

BLiNQ Media and ShopLocal said early adopters of Local LiFT include “major national retailers” and a top regional supermarket, adding that their preliminary data show a year-over-year increase in in-store sales of 3 percent to 4 percent.
