Local Chefs Go Hog Wild

It’s time to go whole hog again in Washington. Cochon555 is the cooking competition that pits five local chefs against each other. The thing that sets this competition apart from any other is that each chef is given a different breed of heritage pig. They then create five dishes to serve to diners.

This year, the battle takes place Sunday, April 7 at the Newseum. Eater reports that the competing chefs are Mike Isabella, Jeff Buben, Kyle Bailey, Haidar Karoum, and Bryan Voltaggio.
