Liz Halloran is a senior writer for U.S. News, which she joined in ’05. Before hitting the WH ’08 campaign trail, she covered the SCOTUS, the media and wrote news features. Movie comedies — marginal or brilliant, doesn’t matter. I’m a cheap laugh. From “Airplane,” and “Big Momma’s House,” to “Young Frankenstein” and, my all time favorite, “This is Spinal Tap.”
