LinkedIn Profile Cards Are Being Integrated Into Microsoft Office 365 Profile Cards

Microsoft officially closed its acquisition of LinkedIn in December 2016

Corporate synergy alert: LinkedIn profile cards have been integrated into Microsoft Office 365 profile cards.

LinkedIn director of product, core growth Damien Coullon announced the integration in a blog post, saying that it will roll out “in the coming weeks” on Enterprise Outlook Web, SharePoint and OneDrive for Business, followed by personal Microsoft accounts in Outlook Web and then finally to other platforms such as Outlook desktop, Outlook iOS and other Office products “in the coming months.”

He added that the feature is accessible by opening a user’s profile card in Office 365 and clicking on the LinkedIn match, after which users will be prompted to sign into their LinkedIn accounts.

Coullon wrote, “After you connect your LinkedIn account to your Microsoft account, you’ll seamlessly discover more insights within the profile card in your Inbox, your calendar and contacts lists.
