LinkedIn president of China Derek Shen has left the professional network.
LinkedIn confirmed Shen’s departure to Jon Russell of TechCrunch, saying that his role will be filled on an interim basis by head of international engineering Francis Tang.
The professional network provided the following statement to Russell:
(Derek) has transformed the business from a startup into a viable business in a position of strength and creating economic opportunity for millions of professionals and companies.
