The NOH8 Campaign is a photo project and protest created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and his partner Jeff Parshley in response to the passage of Prop 8, the ban on gay marriage. Celebrities and everyday people alike have been photographed for the project, and tomorrow the general public has another opportunity to participate.
AVN has details about the July 15 shoot:
From 1-8 p.m., Bouska and … Parshley will photograph all comers and add their images to the iconic collection on the web and in Bouska’s growing collage. The mural currently measures more than 12 feet square and includes more than 800 photos. Another 400 have been submitted by supporters around the world. Among the famous faces in the collection are Fran Drescher, Debbie Gibson, Megan McCain, Tatyana Ali, Blake Lewis, Perez Hilton, Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz, Rachel Sterling, Tara Reid and Chi Chi LaRue.
Members of the public who would like to participate need only show up at Bouska’s studio, located at 5355 Cartwright Ave., suite 320, in North Hollywood. Each subject should bring a plain, white V-neck shirt or T-shirt. The “NO H8” logo will be painted on cheeks at the studio. A minimum $25 donation per portrait is suggested, although children 12 and younger will be photographed free.
