Layoffs Hit US News

We hear that U.S. News has trimmed its sails today, letting go of five (or eight, depending on which tipster to believe) employees. The cuts hit the mailroom, library and fact-checkign department.

More are expecting to come as the magazine shifts to a new online focus.
