Latest in Condé Nast Cull: Layoffs Reach Vanity Fair, W

More layoffs hit Condé Nast Oct. 16, this time at Vanity Fair and W, the oversized luxury fashion book. Vanity Fair lost a handful from the business side while W cut about seven people in sales and marketing.

The latest cuts also included the Condé Nast Media Group, the corporate sales arm that Lou Cona took over from Richard Beckman earlier this year.

Other titles including Golf Digest, Glamour and Vogue have trimmed staff in recent days following a companywide review and cost-cutting effort.
