Last Week's Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Layoffs Bring Year's Total To 100
FishbowlNY has confirmed a new round of layoffs at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Multiple sources with inside knowledge of the situation said IT, art, production, editorial, and support staff at the MSLO offices in New York were let go last Wednesday. The next day, human resources personnel headed up to Massachusetts, according to our sources, where five ad salespeople were laid off at the Boston offices of Body and Soul magazine.
Company spokesperson Elizabeth Estroff confirmed that there were layoffs last week, but would not confirm which areas were hit and the total number of employees affected by last week’s cuts.
