Ladies' Home Journal Takes Contributing Editors, Writers Off Masthead

The InVocus blog has noticed some changes on the masthead at Ladies’ Home Journal.

Reports the blog, under its “magazines” section:

Ladies’ Home Journal has cut ties with its contributing editors and writers, according to an editorial staff member…several big names have gone missing from the masthead since the beginning of the year, including former Washington Post Magazine columnist Jeanne Marie Laskas, fashion savant Merle Ginsberg and award-winning essayist Stephen Fried.”

An LHJ publicist confirmed that these contributors have been removed from the masthead, but said that doesn’t mean they won’t be working for the magazine in the future.
