LA Times Lays Off Printing Press Workers

The LA Times’ decision to kill off the California section means a painful deficit in local coverage, and now it also means 63 more jobs lost. The Pressman’s Union was informed today that 63 of the papers 244 printing plant workers will be laid off. As LA Observed points out, that’s a full quarter of the printing press staff. Will the paper be shrunk by a quarter too?
