Kobe Bryant Fined for Skipping All-Star Media Day
It doesn’t pay to blow off the media.
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was fined $20,000 for skipping the mandated media press day during NBA All-Star weekend in Orlando. He was also slapped with an additional $20,000 fine for not attending a charity event on behalf of NBA Cares.
This is on top of the broken nose and concussion Bryant suffered at the hands of Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wadeduring the All-Star game.
