Ken Burns Documentary ‘Prohibition’ Makes Its Debut On iPhone & iPad Today

Ken Burns fans—if you don’t have an iPhone or iPad you’ll want to get your hands on one ASAP because the king of documentary is debuting his new film ‘Prohibition’ today, September 23, on iPhone and iPad.  If you don’t have one of the Apple devices you’ll have to wait more than a full week to watch the 3-part series when it premiers on PBS TV on October 2, 3 and 4.

Darrell Etherington of GigaOM reports that, “Part of the reason behind the launching on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad first has to do with timing.”
