Kate Upton Graces Cover of V

Kate Upton is getting the cover treatment from V magazine. It’s a peel back cover, so to get to Upton in just a bikini (something you don’t see very often!) you’ll have to do a little work. Upton was photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The issue will hit newsstands January 16.

When WWD asked Stephen Gan, V’s editor, why he chose Upton as the magazine’s latest cover girl, he replied, “Each time I saw her at a shoot, she had become a bigger and bigger star, and her physique, more and more notorious.”

No one has ever described a FishbowlNY editor’s body as “notorious,” but rest assured that we are trying to change that.
