Journos Race... And Not Just For a Good Story

Nearly 700 runners and walkers- including Roll Call‘s Beth Brotherton, ABC’s Jonathan Karl, AP’s Erica Werner, TWT‘s Jen Haberkorn and CBS’ Laura Strickler- came out for the 12th annual National Press Club’s race Saturday.

Funny enough, the race’s course went right by Freedom Plaza where tea party protestors were gathering Saturday. NPC runners joked about how much “free press” the protest was getting because of the 5K.

Of the DC media teams, E and E Publishing took first place, followed by Roll Call in second and McGraw-Hill in third.
