Journopalooza II To Rock Press Club
The stage at the National Press Club is set for Friday night’s “Journopalooza II” rock concert.
D.C.’s media will rock out and drink to a selection of bands. More than a thousand people are expected to attend. Proceeds go to the Committee to Protect Journalsts/Journalist Assistance Program, The Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library and Reporters Without Borders.
Bands in the lineup: Charm Offensive, Dirty Bomb, Nobody’s Business, Suspicious Package. Performers come from the LA Times, The Washington Post, McClatchy, Reuters, AARP Magazine, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Book Forum.
