Betsy wrote this morning about a hateful tweet received by FNC contributor Kirsten Powers over the weekend. Powers re-tweeted the message sent to her by @towelheadradio: "@kirstenpowers10 shut the fuck up u dumb ugly slut. only reason u got ur job is cause ur blonde." Kirsten questioned, “Do men get these?" The post prompted a number of female media types to forward us some of the nasty tweets and sexist emails they've received. A few of the finest came from Alicia Menendez, daughter of Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and a frequent media commentator. No one called her "blonde" but each one questioned her intelligence in messages littered with grammatical and spelling errors. The first, from Jerry "Mel Gibson" McDowell, is no exception . It sounds like "Uncle Jerry" was too drunk to kick the dog so he resorted to emailing Menendez instead: from jerry mcdowell to Alicia Menendez You stupid frigging ugly spic bitch. You could not find you lunatic and leftwing ass with both hands. Sarah Palin could have a bowel movement smarter than you. How would you like to look in the mirror one time and see what Sarah sees? Brilliance, Beauty, and Common Sense. None of these you are familiar with. You and the "old", stupid son of a bitch named clarence dupnik are damn good pair. You both prove the gene pool needs a good cleansing. You would screw up a one car funeral. Then there's this little love/hate letter from Chazz "Moodswing McGee" Herns who thinks Menendez is a "dumb ass bitch" but "HOT." That's sweet. to Alicia Menendez from Chazz Herns You are one dumb ass Bitch. I can't believe you actually belive all the bullshit you spit out. And you are such a fucken question dodger. I hate people like you and I pray the worst to you. Only thing you got going for you is ...you are so HOT. But that is it. She's also been accused of naming our mountains, streets and schools "Spanish names." Oh...so that's how my parents ended up living on Vista Del Lago Lane.
