The long history of Josh Quittner and Time added a new chapter today when the former Business 2.0 editor joined the venerable newsweekly as editor-at-large. He’ll cover consumer technology in a regular column and will write a daily blog on Time.com. Time managing editor Rick Stengel announced the news in an internal memo sent to FishbowlNY.
Quitter first joined Time in 1994 as a staff writer and twice served as the editor of Time.com. He moved to Business 2.0 in 2002. Before joining Time Inc., he wrote a column called “Life in Cyberspace” for Newsday.
Quittner lives in San Francisco and will work out of the West Coast office.
