Jonny Diamond Resigns as Editor of L Magazine

Jonny Diamond has decided 10 years is enough. He is resigning as editor-in-chief of The L Magazine and Brooklyn Magazine. He announced late last night on Twitter that he was moving on because, “The world needed another unemployed writer of short stories with pretentious titles.”

Diamond had been the editor of the L Magazine since it launched in 2003. He told The New York Observer that he wanted to pursue fiction and freelance writing and “The very first thing I’ll be doing is not stressing about pageviews.”
