Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey to Headline Defense One Summit
Defense One today announced that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey will headline its second annual summit, in conversation with executive editor Kevin Baron. Dempsey will explain how “the military is redefining its purpose to fulfill America’s responsibilities to global security.”
The summit is scheduled for Wednesday, November 19 and a full lineup of speakers is forthcoming. At its inaugural summit last year, the Atlantic Media property landed Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, U.S. Air Force then-Acting Secretary Eric Fanning, and Defense Department comptroller and CFO Robert Hale as speakers.
