Former New York Times veteran John Geddes has joined Bloomberg as U.S. politics editor. Geddes previously worked for the Times from 1994 to 2013, when he took a buyout offer.
At Bloomberg, Geddes will work with Mark Halperin, John Heilemann and Mike Nizza to focus Bloomberg’s politics coverage as the 2016 election nears.
Geddes will report to Bloomberg Washington bureau chief Megan Murphy.
