Earlier today, Joe Pompeo, Politico Media’s senior media reporter and author of its Morning Media newsletter, covered Sam Stein’s move to the Daily Beast. Later, there would be news of another move: his own.
Pompeo is moving to Vanity Fair, where he will be senior media correspondent for The Hive, the publication’s tech, media and politics site.
Pompeo’s move comes at a time of change for Politico Media both in the scope of coverage and staff, as a number of other media reporters have left recently.
