The ability to schedule posts on Facebook is generally a useful feature, but sometimes it backfires, as was the case when a post appeared on the late Joan Rivers’ Facebook page plugging Apple’s new iPhone 6.

The post was quickly deleted, but not before TMZ and others were able to capture screenshots of the post, which contained a photo of the box for an iPhone 4S and the following message:

This badass is being replaced by an iPhone 6 (not the fat one). I got this one in 2010, and after four years, my only complaint is that applications are now designed for bigger screens, and the battery is getting tired. Never had a case for it, since it was most beautiful on its own. Great achievement in design. Great product. #apple #iPhone #tech
