History Unveils 'JFK Twitter Takeover' As 50th Anniversary Approaches

This Friday marks the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s public assassination, and History is commemorating the tragic event by tweeting the President’s final days leading up to the shooting.

Called “JFK Twitter Takeover,” this initiative is hosted on History’s official Twitter account, which you can follow here.

Throughout the week, the account will tweet about the last week in President Kennedy’s life, leading up to this Friday. Tweets in the series are using the hashtag #JFK50.
