Meredith has named Jessica Torres editor in chief of Siempre Mujer. She most recently served as the magazine’s deputy editor.
Torres has been with Meredith since 2006. She previously worked for Parents and Ser Padres.
“Jessica has done a remarkable job and played a crucial role in the growth and continued success of Siempre Mujer since she joined the magazine nearly ten years ago,” said Dana Points, content director of Meredith Parents Network, in an announcement. “She transformed the brand into a must-read resource for Latinas to learn the latest on their favorite beauty, fashion, travel, lifestyle, celebrity and health topics. She’s a great asset to our brands, and we look forward to her continued success in her new role.”
In other Meredith news, Grace Bastidas, editor of Parents Latina, will now oversee Ser Padres as well. Bastidas has served as the editor of Parents Latina since it launched last year.
