Jagimo — The Social Network That Plays Like A Game

You can build your network of people to follow and ignore others you don’t want to follow. Ne parle pas anglais? No problemo. When international jagimers toss, you can translate the text into your own language. You can also use the feature “spotlighting the best” where the most interesting jagimos are featured. And then, there is color me. You can enjoy new graphics and an interface that allows you to customize the look of Jagimo!

Jagimo! has been re-launched. If you are familiar with the social network, then you know it plays like a game. The re-launch adds social networking features and updates the current look-and-feel of the platform. In order to get active, users need to download the app on to their iPhone, IPod touch or iPad.

“This is a giant toss forward for Jagimo!” says president and co-founder Erich Wood. “I think people will enjoy our new design and really like how we’ve implemented social networking features.”

The re-launch platform has a feel of being in action. You can mashup ideas and photos with random people from around the world or locally. You can toss a jagimo or catch a jagimo. It’s totally random as you race against time and try to be clever, too.

Who you follow, or who follows you, is private. Meet new people from around the world. The interaction among jagimers and the game-like atmosphere create a unique mobile community.

“Following allows for people to group together in loose form, without hurting the randomness of Jagimo!” says Mr. Wood. “We want people to connect with new people, getting a sense of how people in different places react to different topics.”

The re-launch also features new branding as well as an enhanced design that allows people to change to fit the color scheme of very own Jagimo!
