App Store rejects female masturbation game while approving weed selling game

Masturbation is a legal, private practice in most states, but private, weed exchanges are typically not. This hasn't prevented iTunes from taking a stand on whether it favors one or the other. The latest rejected sex app is HappyPlayTime, a masturbation game aimed at eliminating social stigmas associated with female masturbation. Conversely, one of the most popular game in the app store last week was Weed Firm. It's a perfect simulation game for wannabe marijuana growers, sellers, or any iOS game player with a sense of humor. It's not inherently evil, but neither is female masturbation, which hasn't been as lucky in the app store. In fact, the weed game highlights include crooked cops, relentless gangsters, and horny dancer Jane: The story of an expelled botany sophomore Ted Growing as he inherits a growing operation and expands it. Too bad it's not going to get help from Apple. HappyPlayTime's developer, Tina, received the following notice from the App Store: As we discussed, we appreciate the time and resources you have committed to iOS development but at this time, the concept of your app is just not one that we feel is appropriate for the App Store. This isn't the first time the app has been denied entry into iTunes, here is an image of the original rejection from the app store: HappyPlayTime was rejected twice, despite vague imagery and supposed educational motives. In fact, the app was submitted as a 17+ rating, meaning it contains heavy violence and mature themes. That's still not enough to pass by Apple's long-standing anti-porn policy. Last January, Apple removed 500px from the App Store for containing pornographic material - even though the content was user-generated. This decision subsequently made Twitter's Vine ban all pornographic materials from its app - a move that made Silicon valley appear a bit prudish, despite its proximity to San Francisco, a city known for sexual freedoms. Of course, everyone knows that porn is a major traffic driver on the internet, and that many users are capable of finding porn without apps or smartphones. Masturbation graphics like these below, doesn't seem at all inappropriate compared to shoot-em-up games with cops as targets. As for HappyPlayTime, Tina is planning on converting the touchscreen game into a desktop version, but without the original finger controls.
