It's Official: Keith Olbermann the New 'Chief News Officer' of Current Media

Everyone on the planet new it was coming, but Keith Olbermann officially announced on Twitter that he has accepted a position as Current Media‘s new “Chief News Officer.”

Olbermann will executive produce an “amplified and stronger version of the show” he did for MSNBC. Current has already thrown together a rudimentary website for the new show, which doesn’t appear to have a title yet. No real word yet on what his other “News Officer” duties will be.
