It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got Cha-Ching

I.D. jumps on the BusinessWeek Innovation & Design train with this feature by Jill Singer (sometime UnBeige-r) asking design shops what products actually move units. No surprise from Graves’ chirping Alessi teakettle or Umbra’s Karim Rashid-handled trash can (isn’t that a dorm room requirement for all rising college freshman?), but urban hunter pieces like Augustin Scott de Martinville’s Moose Head and Jason Miller’s Antler Chandelier just don’t seem like universal must-haves. Maybe deep down everyone really wants a little cabin in Wyoming.
