Ireland is the only country that will hold a public vote on the European Fiscal Treaty referendum, set for May 31, and the Ireland Referendum Commission is using Facebook to help ensure that voters are properly registered.

Silicon Republic reported that the IRC will launch a Facebook application that will steer users to its voting register so that they can make sure they are properly registered by the May 14 deadline.
