With unemployment at 9 percent and 13 million unemployed Americans, we’ve got a serious problem on our hands.  Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. is blaming the iPad.

Last Friday, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., a Democrat from Illinois, addressed the House, saying the iPad “is probably responsible for eliminating thousands of American jobs”.  Jackson brings up the fact that Borders is now closing stores asking, “Why do you need to go to Borders anymore?  Why do you need to go to Barnes & Noble?  Buy an iPad and download your newspaper, download your book, download your magazine.”

He also points out the fact that the freshman class at Chicago State University is not being given textbooks.
