Facebook Gives IOS Users News Feed Sorting Options

The sorting options present in Facebook's redesigned News Feed for desktop have made their way to the iOS application. Many iOS users have seen a prompt on their main screen to see more feeds. Below that is a News Feed button they can tap, giving them options similar to the right-hand side of the desktop feed.

The sorting options present in Facebook’s redesigned News Feed for desktop have made their way to the iOS application. Many iOS users have seen a prompt on their main screen to see more feeds. Below that is a News Feed button they can tap, giving them options similar to the right-hand side of the desktop feed.

Facebook’s iOS app users are starting to see this prompt atop their mobile News Feed:

When a user taps the “Learn More,” button, it takes them to a help center entry about adjusting News Feed settings within the app.

When a user taps the News Feed button, they’re given the same options as the redesigned desktop News Feed.

This does not appear on Android yet, but we will update the story if it does.
