Invisible Children Takes You On An Office Tour To Prove They’re Not A Scam [Video]

Invisible Children, the organization behind KONY 2012, has released a video tour of their San Diego office in what appears to be an attempt to make the organization a little more personable.

This week everyone is anxiously awaiting the release of KONY 2012 Part 2, the sequel to the massively viral documentary launched by Invisible Children last month.  Unfortunately, the release of the sequel has been delayed due to editing issues and is now expected to be released Thursday, but in the meantime Invisible Children has released a video tour of their San Diego office in what appears to be an attempt to make the organization a little more personable.

While the KONY 2012 film was wildly successful, it was also wildly controversial.  Some accused Invisible Children of oversimplifying the issue and misleading viewers, news spread of filmmaker Jason Russell being arrested and word spread about the possibility of the whole thing being a scam.  In a video that just hit YouTube, Invisible Children’s Director of Idea Development, Jedidiah Jenkins, takes us on a tour of the organization’s San Diego office so give the public a more positive look at the people behind KONY 2012.

Jenkins says, “What surprised us was that a lot of people were like, ‘What’s Invisible Children? What’s their deal? Why are they making these movies? Who do they think they are? It must be a scam.  It must be shady.”  He says, “We’re just human beings! Hi, we’re just people!” And they wanted to make this video to show the world that they aren’t a scam.
