Corporate synergy alert: Users can now share their Instagram Stories to their Facebook Stories.
The feature had been spotted in a test in Portugal last month, and a Facebook spokesperson confirmed its rollout in an email to Social Pro Daily: “You now have the option to share your Instagram Stories to your Facebook Stories. We’re always working to make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you.”
The new cross-posting option is not available to brands, as they cannot create Facebook Stories, and a Facebook spokesperson told Josh Constine of TechCrunch that the social network may consider allowing users to share their Facebook Stories to their Instagram Stories somewhere down the line.
