Fans of fast-moving consumable goods (think everything from meat to candles to sponges), travel, and nonprofits are the most social with each other when it comes to shares from Facebook fan posts, according to data from social media analytics platform Socialbakers.
Socialbakers noted that the volume might have been spurred by the enthusiasm of summer travelers who want to share their experiences, adding that it plans to collect and analyze more data after the summer ends to see if the fans are still as vocal.
The data also showed that fans of fashion, automobiles, and ecommerce are the most bonded communities based on shares, likes, and comments. Such groups generally have formed somewhat ardent communities — think Chevrolet Camaro groups, or those that collect shoes by designer Jimmy Choo. That’s likely one reason why the analysts found the level of engagement unsurprising.
