The infographic below revealed statistics including:

  • 70 percent of Facebook users in 21 countries — Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, the U.K. and the U.S. — who connected to the social network last summer did so via mobile.
  • 75 percent of content and 76 percent of photos posted to Facebook last summer were via mobile.
  • The 21 countries combined for a total of 800 million daily posts, photos, videos, links, comments and check-ins last summer.
  • Facebook users share 22 percent more photos during the summer than during either the winter or spring, and 7 percent more than during the fall.
