Journalist and activist John Wilson died Thursday night in New York. Wilson was a former Metro Editor at The Washington Times and an editor with the Science section of The New York Times. Wilson was also a founding member of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association. He was 56.
A former colleague of Wilson writes in to tell us:
John Wilson’s influence can be seen at dozens of papers, wire services, internet sites, publishing companies and magazines across the United States. He was literally a giant in journalism.
