Helping other entrepreneurs: The New York office of Web Media Brands (full disclosure: parent company to FishbowlDC) informs us that Mediabistro founder Laurel Touby will keynote the New Media Women Entrepreneurs Summit in Washington on Nov. 8. The day-long event is described as a “day-long gathering of women news creators and wannabe news creators” with workshops on everything from “teasing out contributors” to “launching niche news sites.”
Eventful: The event will be held at The Barbara Jordan Conference Center – Kaiser Family Foundation in downtown Washington.
