Ian Cameron: An Update
As we reported last week, Ian Cameron has been tapped as executive producer for ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”
That prompted lots of readers to bring this to our attention: Cameron’s wife is Susan Rice, an Obama advisor and top candidate for Secretary of State should the Illinois senator win the White House.
ALSO: We hear that Hardball EP John Reiss applied for the gig and that ABC approached Janet Leissner, the former CBS News DC bureau chief, who took a pass.

Re: Ian Cameron and Susan Rice — why is it more pertinent now than when he was the senior producer in Washington for World News? Same “issues” still exist — they’ve never made a secret of it, and no one’s complained about his ability to cover Obama before, have they? She was an adviser to John Kerry too.
