HuffPost to Cover Trump’s Campaign as ‘Entertainment’

"Trump's campaign is a sideshow."

If we’re going to note The Huffington Post’s bad content, we owe it to you to highlight its quality content, too.

In a note on the site’s Politics vertical, HuffPost’s Washington bureau chief Ryan Grim and editorial director Danny Shea explained that all coverage of Donald Trump will be found in the Entertainment vertical:

We have decided we won’t report on Trump’s campaign as part of The Huffington Post’s political coverage. Instead, we will cover his campaign as part of our Entertainment section. Our reason is simple: Trump’s campaign is a sideshow. We won’t take the bait. If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you’ll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette.

That’s hilarious and great. Here’s hoping other sites follow HuffPost’s lead.
