Hubdub Crosses the Pond with FanDuel

Scotland-based news-betting site Hubdub entered the U.S. fantasy-games arena with FanDuel, which pits fans against each other in daily or weekly Major League Baseball or National Football League match-ups, rather than having them play out an entire season, paidContent:UK reported.

FanDuel charges users $5, $10 or $25 to sign up for each game, and winners receive cash prizes.

Hubdub founder and CEO Nigel Eccles told paidContent:UK:

The current plan is to focus on the U.S. market for the rest of this year.
