HP To Build More TouchPads

The TouchPad isn’t going away just yet. The HP tablet that didn’t do very well when it came out in April, got pulled, then became an overnight sensation during closeout sales, is back. The device, which is currently selling for $99, will have a second run.

On HP’s TheNextBench blog today, Mark_Budgell wrote: “Despite announcing an end to manufacturing webOS hardware, we have decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand. We don’t know exactly when these units will be available or how many we’ll get, and we can’t promise we’ll have enough for everyone.
