Howard Stern Hired as America's Got Talent Judge

A month after CNN host Piers Morgan quit as judge on NBC’s America Got Talent, syndicated radio host Howard Stern was hired as his replacement.

How much pull does Stern have? The show is moving from Los Angeles to New York in order to accommodate the shock jock.

“Howard Stern’s larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to ‘America’s Got Talent’ starting this summer,” said Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late-night programming at NBC. “He’s a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable.
