How to Survive in Newspapers, Tribune Style

tribhead.pngWell, at least some folks working under the ever-shrinking Tribune umbrella are managing to keep a sense of humor. From a new satire blog just launched over at the Chicago Tribune called HeadCandy comes a helpful (just for fun) instructional video titled “Chicago Tribune Guide to Newspaper Reporting” (“meet your undercover source in a dark alley, slip ’em a couple of Ben Franklins”).

It was apparently put together by the same Tribune jokesters who won a rival Chicago Sun-Times Sam Zell video contest (they own a Sam Zell mask, they aren’t afraid to use it). As they say, laughter is the best medicine. Perhaps the folks at the WSJ might want to consider investing in some masks of their own. Watch the video here.
